Tinsel & Tine’s mini interview with
Executive Director, Debra Wolf Goldstein and
Artistic Director Alexandra Drobac Diagne
T&T: “What do each of them fear most when it comes to the current Administration’s views on Climate Change and the EPA. And in what ways do they hope the festival will make an impact in combating some of the regression on policies taking place?
DWG & ADD: “We all have the responsibility to combat climate change. Withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement — which took years to negotiate — moves the United States completely in the wrong direction. We hope the Philadelphia Environmental Film Festival will inspire and engage people to see that our global climate problems come with creative solutions. It starts with each of us taking personal action and also insisting on responsible political action from our leaders.”
