This Weekend I’ll be Covering: The XPN Music Film Festival
Film & Music, like Film & Food is always an exciting pairing! I’m looking forward to attending some of the goings on at this year’s XPN Music Film Festival April 11-14, 2013.
Here’s a link to T&T coverage from last year’s XPN inaugural festival.
Now in its second year, the WXPN Music Film Festival represents a
collaboration between the noncommercial radio station and the
Philadelphia Film Society. The event will encompass 17 film screenings,
live music performances and a variety of ancillary activities. The
eclectic affair will span a variety of music genres, including
documentaries about the music scene, biopics about musicians, and movies
that have distinctive music soundtracks.

The movie was really good and Darlene Love performed Lean On Me live afterwards

Darn, I was really torn between going to the closing night or going to watch the MTV Movie Awards with my brother and his friends and decided to do that, but sounds like I missed the best part of the festival.

I saw 2 movies on Friday and 2 on Sunday, my favorite being Twenty Feet from Stardom. I didn't see you there but hope that I just missed you because it was very good. And the performances afterwards, wow.
