Whole Foods Celebrates July Pies / Tinsel & Tine Celebrates Pie Movies
I make mention of cake a lot on Tinsel & Tine. In fact, if I had done my review of White House Down (which I didn’t do cause the movie was ridiculous, and Jamie Foxx & Channing Tatum have much better chemistry off camera than on) but if I had, I would have highlighted the scene where Walker (James Woods) enjoys a slice of cake right in the middle of taking 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue hostage. Philly Restaurant – Indian Restaurant (1634 South Street)
I think it’s funny that the name of this Indian food restaurant is Indian Restaurant. Makes you wonder if they just gave up on trying to agree on a name. It’s only been open since March, the dining room is new, fresh, nice, not a lot of character, but traditionally decorated, white table cloths, preset with cloth napkins. I arrived for an early dinner today (Sunday) around 4pm and had the place entirely to myself; they seem to do more of a take-out business, although it’s very pricey for take-out.
