Candi’s Corner: Interview with Robert Rodriguez, Danny Trejo, and Alexa Vega – MACHETE KILLS

    October 11, 2013 /

“Spy Kids”, Ray Liotta, and Bikinis: Robert Rodriguez, Danny Trejo, and Alexa Vega Talk “Machete Kills” in Philly By Tinsel & Tine Blog Contributor Candace Cordelia After enjoying the crazy fun of screening “Machete Kills”, I was lucky enough to sit down with Robert Rodriguez, Alexa Vega and Danny Trejo during a roundtable interview. The First Fruits – Apple: JOBS movie

    August 18, 2013 /

I’m strictly a Windows and Android kinda girl.  Probably due to financial constraints.  But even when I do win the Publishers Clearing House $5000 A Week for Life, not a commercial, truly my destiny!  I’ll still probably stick with Windows and Android over Apple because it’s what I know.  With that being said, I was still highly anticipating the biopic Jobs directed by Joshua Michael Stern. Why? Because Steve Job’s life represents the world we’re so immersed in on a daily basis – Technology! How involved was Apple?  JMS: They weren’t [involved] at all. They don’t have anything to gain by coming out for or against it. All of…

    Side Effects

    February 9, 2013 /

As you can see Soderbergh's latest work Side Effects (written by Scott Z Burns) ranks fairly high on my list, yet I'm stuck on what I want to write about the film; mainly because I don't want to give away any plot twists, but even by saying that it kinda gives something away,

Paranormal Parody – A Haunted House

    January 12, 2013 /

@marlonlwayans #AHauntedHouse is a bad title, too generic, no black people are gonna call it this, why didn't u just go with Paranormal Blacktivity? Ur writing is raunchy, juvenile, stupid, racial and ridiculous yet I LOL'd so much in spite of myself. This movie will find it's core audience and they'll be lovin :-D the whole thing!
