    WOLFWALKERS Live Virtual Q&A

    February 22, 2021 /

    It's an enchanting film animated in a storybook, 2D illustrated style.  I love European folklore and Cryptozoology, so the story was engaging to me from the beginning...

    OVER THE MOON

    December 17, 2020 /

    The story centers around a young girl in China, Fei Fei (Cathy Ang ) whose mother loved to tell her stories of a Mythical Moon Goddess named Chang'e (Phillipa Soo) who pines for her one true love Houyi. I re-watched the very beginning when the myth is explained because I thought maybe I’d missed something as I don't understand why she took two immortality pills,one meant for Houyi;

    Toy Story 4

    July 7, 2019 /

    Tinsel & Tine #MiniMovieReview TOY STORY 4 (Director Josh Cooley) The opening sequence featuring that torrential downpour was just gorgeous, and so realistic, is there nothing animation can’t do incredibly well now? There’s no doubt Toy Story 3 was a super, well-crafted piece of storytelling, not good for animation, just good, and I would say #ToyStory4 comes very near to being as involving and as well written. Secret Life of Pets 2

    June 7, 2019 /

    Tinsel & Tine #MiniMovieReview Directors: Chris Renaud, Jonathan del Val by Illumination Animation, only founded in 2007, but feels like we’ve loved these animated movies forever! Oswald Patton taking over for Louis CK as the voice of Max – aka Tiny Dog, aka TD, doesn’t miss a beat, and Harrison Ford as Rooster is ideal! The overall rhythm and bits aren’t as strong and tight as the original, but it’s still an entertaining summer movie to be enjoyed by pet lovers and non-pet owners like myself. T&T the Large Association of Movie Blogs (aka the LAMb) rating 3.5 outta 5
