One year ago when the Philadelphia suburbs closed down, Stove and Co. Restaurant Group had four restaurants that were forced to shut down. Now partners Justin Weathers and Joe Monnich are looking to better days…
Weathers and Monnich recently threw open the doors and celebrated the long-overdue opening in their newest market. Stove and Tap West Chester is now grand open and serving for indoor dining at 50% capacity, with hope on the horizon from the governor to finally fill those bar seats up for the very first time with the return of bar business, and expand indoor seating to 75%.
“We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of Stove and Tap West Chester – our third Stove and Tap location and fifth new restaurant for Stove and Co. Restaurant Group,” said Weathers. “Chef and his culinary team will bring our signature and beloved American classic favorites plus modern gastropub fare to a new area of the Philadelphia suburbs. We have been working on Stove and Tap Malvern since 2019 and faced some big set-backs during the pandemic. After all the challenges and nearly a year delay we are ready to rock and roll and we can not wait to get to know our neighbors and new patrons. Anthony DePaul for Downtown Ardmore’s first luxe steakhouse in the heart of the dining district in Ardmore’s largest restaurant space. This Modern Italian Steakhouse will bring Italian flavors, the finest cuts of steak, big chops, displays of fresh oysters, shrimp cocktails,, seasonal vegetables, big salads, savory flatbreads that will come right from the wood fired oven. DePaul’s will seat 190 total between the dining rooms and the bar. And 20 seats outdoors on Lancaster Avenue and along Station Road.
