NINE (Movie Musical)
December 31, 2009
by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor I fell in love with the trailer for the movie musical Nine, because it appeared to be a visual feast for the eyes. In my opinion, Director, Rob Marshall, Cinematographer, Dion Beebe, Costume Designer, Colleen Atwood, Production Designer, John Myhre along with the Set Decorator, Makeup Department and Art Direction created the look of a magazine; very glossy, international, mixing styles, trends and eras in…
Commentary – The Road
November 17, 2009
Just how near is the apocalypse? My screenings last week consisted of 2012, a CGI version of the next Noah’s Art event. And Philadelphia Film’s Society’s filmadelphiaIndependent presentation of The Road, a bleak, cold look at the future after an unnamed cataclysmic occurrence on the earth. Then to top it off or seal the doom, my Bible study class focused on Matthew 24:4-28, where Jesus tells his disciples of all…
NY Film & Video Festival Wrap Up

Legend has it that members of the Illuminati still exist and have been waiting for the right time to seek their revenge. The right time has now presented itself in the fact that the Vatican is voting in a new Pope and a team of scientists, lead by Vittoria Vetra (Ayelet Zurer) have generated Antimatter, the light and energy of creation.
Graphic Novel to Movie Adaptation: WATCHMEN
March 12, 2009
I'm deliberately not going to write an intellectual review on The Watchmen, because personally, I'm a little sick of all the "Holy Grail" of Graphic Novels talk that preceded this movie's release. Perhaps it is the most outstanding concept and artwork the Comic Book world has ever seen, perhaps those that feel that way, have a right to feel it should not have been made into a film. I don't…
