Careers Through Culinary Arts 2017
5th Annual Ignite Benefit
Original post 9/30/17
I’ve been invited to attend Careers through Culinary Arts Program’s (C-CAP) annual Philadelphia benefit on Monday, October 30, 2017 6-9pm at Cira Centre
(2929 Arch Street Phila 19104). Commemorating 25 years of changing lives in Philadelphia through culinary arts, the C-CAP Benefit is an evening that celebrates the culinary community’s generosity, while supporting at-risk high school students in the culinary arts.
The event will showcase creations from
15 of Philadelphia’s top restaurants including:
Vetri Family and the Garces Group
as well as new Philadelphia’s hotspots Maison 208
(helmed by C-CAP alum Sylva Senat)
Walnut Street Café
(by Michelin-starred chef Daniel Eddy)
Chefs will be on hand to offer their creations to our guests and will be assisted by C-CAP students and alumni, chefs of the future.
Those attending IGNITE not only get an opportunity to try amazing dishes from some of the best chefs in Philadelphia, but also a chance to meet the C-CAP culinary high school vocational students from the Philadelphia region.

We provide job training, scholarships, career and college advising, and exposure to all aspects of the culinary industry to a population that desperately needs support and guidance. That kind of in-depth programming costs money, which is why we need your help.@ccapinc
