Tinsel & Tine Highlight’s – One Woman – Two Angels Play By Le Anne Lindsay, Editor On Thursday (Sept 19th) I got a chance to venture out to the Bristol Riverside theater to see AN ACT OF GOD (A New Comedy) by David Javerbaum, starring KIM WAYANS as GOD. The stage play is adapted from Javerbaum’s “The Last Testament: A Memoir By God”, which started as a series of tweets. Although “God” has two angels Archangel Michael (Benjamin Brown) and Archangel Gabriel (Peter DeLaurier) to play off during the piece, it’s essentially a One Person play. Early on, I had dreams of making Tinsel & Tine a business, perhaps PR or an online magazine or felt it would lead to another career in the entertainment industry - none of that happened. Got invited to cover the 2nd Annual PHLFoodstagram Event featuring West Avenue Grille Restaurant in Jenkingtown. The event was aimed at super young Philly Influencers, but I got to be included as the old-head of the PHL Blogging world. The Rooftop of the Sterling Apartments on 18th & JFK is an awesome setting. It was one of those perfect temperature, soft end of summer evenings, and the views of the city were spectacular.
