25 MINUTE DRIVE IS A WORLD AWAY co-written/directed by Paolo Pilladi & co-writer Greg Lingo, "Last Call" is a movie about Philly! Set not far from where David O. Russell (Bradley Cooper/Jennifer Lawrence) beloved Silver Linings Playbook was filmed in Upper Darby. It stars Jeremy Piven (Entourage) as Seamus "Mick" McDougal a kid from the neighborhood, whose mother was a saintly housewife; his father (Jack McGee) runs The Bucket, a favored watering hole; and his brother (Zach McGowan) is a good looking, good for nothin. MOUNTAIN DEW, THE ELIXIR OF LIFE Soon-ja is not your typica,l docile, Korean senior citizen. She’s full of energy, cuss words, likes to joke around and play cards. You’d think the kids would love meeting a grandma such as this, but instead, Anne is politely weary, and David just out and out tells her she’s not what he wants “Real grandmothers bake cookies! Real grandmothers don’t swear!”

I wondered how they were going to pull off the fact that Prince Akeem (Murphy) had a son he didn't know about when in Queens he only had eyes for his Queen Lisa McDowell (Shari Headley). Considering the explanation involves former SNL cast member, high octane Leslie Jones, I'd say the plot works.
