The owner of the hotel suggests to Prisca & Guy that their first day's activity be a trip out to a private beach. He intimates, they are the only ones being offered this opportunity, but once in the resort van (featuring M. Night's cameo) they are joined by a rich couple, Charles (Rufus Sewell) and his trophy wife Chrystal (Abbey Lee Lovecraft Country) their 6 year-old daughter Kara and Charles' mother. Click images in Gallery to enlarge I’ve got to say, I enjoyed a Virtual Film Festival far, far more than I anticipated. I still felt as if I was attending an event. I liked that Blackstar Founder/Director Maori Karmael Holmes, Rashid Zakat, Rich Medina, Dr. Yaba Blay and Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter did a little Live Facebook show at 9am each day (presented by Color of Change), interviewing a filmmaker or guest with fun segments and reminding the audience of what was in store for the day. …

It's also not your typical music biopic cause there's no surly ex-band members talking about how things went terribly wrong. Nope all ex-members only have the highest regard for both brothers and their experience with SPARKS on the whole. Peppered through are interviews with famous fans of the group, like Jane Wiedlin, Patton Oswalt, Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino and Jason Schwartzman. ..

Summer Vibes: IN THE HEIGHTS
The other main plot revolves around Nina (Leslie Grace) the whole block is so, so proud of her for making it out of the hood and attending her first year at Stanford University. None more proud than her self-made business man father, Kevin (Jimmy Smits) but Nina has not had a good year away. Her grades are fine, but the racial issues she's been dealing with at school have her longing for home...
