29th Annual Philadelphia Film Festival Coverage

    November 19, 2020 /

Just like I said about Virtual Black Star Film Festival this summer, I really enjoy so much about an online film festival. Interview with CENTRAL AVE co-hosts Julissa Bermudez and Sanya Richards-Ross

    November 17, 2020 /

by Contributor Candace Cordelia & Le Anne Lindsay, Editor Got a chance to cover some Philly TV entertainment.  Well, let me clarify, the show is called CENTRAL AVE and it’s nationally syndicated, but for Philadelphia it airs 11pm Saturday & Sunday on Ch 17 WPHL-TV. And when I say cover, well, I received the opportunity to interview these 2 fab co-hosts of Central Ave – Julissa Bermudez and Sanya Richards-Ross, but I was in the middle of covering 3 virtual film fests. So, I called upon my friend and colleague Candace Cordelia! Candace is a Philly-based on-camera host and writer who once upon a time contributed regularly to Tinsel &…

CHRISTMAS VILLAGE IN PHILADELPHIA RETURN TO LOVE PARK AND CITY HALL WITH A 2020 SOCIALLY DISTANCED LAYOUT

    November 17, 2020 /

by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor Christmas Village in Philadelphia, the authentic open-air German-style Christmas Market at LOVE Park and City Hall, will again return for the 2020 holiday season from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve. Now with a new socially distanced layout, reduced vendor capacity, new safety protocols, and a new separated food area. For this year, Christmas Village in Philadelphia will see many changes with the health and safety of visitors, tourists, vendors and staff in mind.  Masks and social distancing will be required. Visitors are encouraged to not only wear their masks, follow social distance guidelines, and keep in direction with the new layout, but everyone who visits is…
