    November 17, 2020 /

by Contributor Candace Cordelia & Le Anne Lindsay, Editor Got a chance to cover some Philly TV entertainment.  Well, let me clarify, the show is called CENTRAL AVE and it’s nationally syndicated, but for Philadelphia it airs 11pm Saturday & Sunday on Ch 17 WPHL-TV. And when I say cover, well, I received the opportunity to interview these 2 fab co-hosts of Central Ave – Julissa Bermudez and Sanya Richards-Ross, but I was in the middle of covering 3 virtual film fests. So, I called upon my friend and colleague Candace Cordelia! Candace is a Philly-based on-camera host and writer who once upon a time contributed regularly to Tinsel &…

    November 17, 2020 /

by Le Anne Lindsay, Editor Christmas Village in Philadelphia, the authentic open-air German-style Christmas Market at LOVE Park and City Hall, will again return for the 2020 holiday season from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve. THE ILLADELPHIA GLOW 5 Questions for Filmmaker: Mister Mann Frisby

    November 14, 2020 /

I got a chance to screen The Illadelphia Glow (short film). First off, I really appreciate anytime black sci-fi is on the table. Although, this film doesn’t play out with a comicbook or supernatural tone. It’s grounded in reality. It just so happens the lead character, high school teacher Winston Ligon (Aundre Dean) has a special talent, where it’s not so much that he doesn’t know how to control it, but rather he doesn’t know what to do with it.
