    September 16, 2019 /

Got invited to cover the 2nd Annual PHLFoodstagram Event featuring West Avenue Grille Restaurant in Jenkingtown. The event was aimed at super young Philly Influencers, but I got to be included as the old-head of the PHL Blogging world.  The Rooftop of the Sterling Apartments on 18th & JFK is an awesome setting. It was one of those perfect temperature, soft end of summer evenings, and the views of the city were spectacular. Check out more in below Facebook post: Other Sponsors included: Parc, The Sterling Apartment Homes, Strut This, Herb & Lou’s, Forever Young Med Spa, Red Bull, Lumos, Nosh Bars, Chestnut Street Bagel, Kin Boutique, Cherry Blow Dry…

    Me and the MCU

Tinsel & Tine Joins Marvel (MCU) Panel at the Franklin Institute By Le Anne Lindsay, Editor As you’ve probably seen in several places on the blog, I became a member of the Philadelphia Film Critics Circle (PFCC) in May of 2019.  The Association is still new – 2 years  (comparatively the NYFCC started in 1935) and most major cities have a similar film association begun at various times, but for some reason, not Philadelphia; until fellow Philly critics Rich Heimlich and Stephen Silver got together to start one here.  As a writer/blogger/journalist it helps to have an affiliation around you in this business in terms of credibility, getting interviews, film…
